When I hear Photography, the first thing that comes to mind is Ansel Adams. I view him as an inspiration for my work. His photos are very appealing to me and I tried to use his composition and style in my photos. I like certain aspects of his art work like some of the centralization and just nature aspect. Although I did try to make it seem like his style I still tried to make it my own. I found a perfect balance between the two for me and I think it turned out wonderfully. Going through the process of photography made me understand the effort put forth by photographers, especially black and white. Art has always been a big passion of mine, from taking pictures to just drawing. I really started to take interest in photography was when I was about 11 and I went to Africa. I started using my dad’s camera, and by the end I filled over 3 SD cards of pictures.  Ever since I’ve been obsessed with taking pictures so going through the process of photography in an earlier time was so interesting to me. To me I feel that my pictures bring a sense of a dreamy state of mind, like a feeling of peace. My family encourages me to be as creative as I can be and pushes me to do my best. They push me to be a better person and add more meaning to every picture I take. In the future I hope that I can find time to keep doing photography because it has been a passion of mine for a while. If everything went the way I wanted it to, I would love to be a photographer. If not I can always just mess around and have fun with it. There are endless possibilities of what could happen with photography, like the places it will take me and what I can capture from there that will last a lifetime in my memory. Photography is a great way that I express myself, it makes me think and look at everything differently. Photography always has and will be a passion of mine.
